Ironworkers Local 847 is a regional reinforcing specialty local chartered in February 2008 with jurisdiction in 15 states. The local currently has over 1000 active members and more than 20 signatory contractors throughout the United States.
Local 847 has business agents/field representatives in various regions with offices in Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Utah and Nebraska.

Program & Courses
Ironworker Apprenticeship
The Ironworker Apprenticeship program is designed to provide aspiring ironworkers with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the industry. Throughout the program, apprentices will learn how to work with structural and reinforcing steel to construct buildings, bridges, and other structures. They will receive a combination of hands-on training, classroom instruction, and on-the-job experience to help them develop the necessary skills and knowledge. As an ironworker apprentice, they will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of various buildings and structures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
